Who these terms cover

These terms apply to services provided by HardenedWeb, a brand of Centurian Solutions LLP, Bengaluru, India ("we", "us") to you, the client. By engaging our services you agree to these terms.

Quotes and scope

Every project or fix begins with a written quote describing the scope of work and a fixed price. The quote is the price for that scope. If, during the work, we discover the job is materially larger than quoted, we will pause and tell you before doing or billing anything beyond the agreed scope. Work requested outside the quoted scope is quoted separately.

Payment

New website projects require an advance payment of 50% before work begins, with the balance due on completion, before the site is transferred or launched. Rescue and fix work is payable on completion. Care plans are billed monthly in advance. Accepted payment methods are listed on your invoice.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you own or are authorized to modify the website, hosting account, domain and email systems you ask us to work on, and that content you supply does not infringe anyone's rights. You are responsible for keeping your own credentials secure after handover.

Ownership

On full payment, you own the website and content we created for you. We may use third-party components (such as open-source software, themes or plugins) that remain under their own licenses. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Warranties and limits

We work to professional standards and harden every site we deliver, but no one can guarantee that any website is immune to all attacks, downtime or data loss. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data caused by factors outside our control, including your hosting provider, third-party software, or actions taken by you or others after handover.

Confidentiality

Credentials and business information you share with us are used only to perform the work and are never shared or sold. We recommend rotating any passwords you shared with us after the work is complete, and we will remind you to do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
